FROM THE AIRPORT
Car rental
Bergen Airport is a small airport and it's easy to pick up a car. It's about 30 minutes by car to the Island Villa.
The address nearest to the parking/pier is
VESTREPOLLSVEGEN 109, 5177 BJØRØYHAMN.
Turn to the right 5 meters BEFORE this address. Then you are at the parking and the pier.
Taxi
Here are some information about taxi from the AirPort.
You find taxi on the right. Taxi costs about 700 - 800,- NOK. Be aware! Use Bergen taxi. Best price and best service. Number two is Taxi 1 and Uber. All others are much more expensive. For a 7 seater taxi and a maxi taxi it`s more expensive, but it will pay off if you are more than 4 people. Then you must pre-order. Tell them the arrival date and flight number.

A useful piece of advice!
You are free to use the taxi company you prefer. It means you can pick the first taxi from your preferred company anywhere in the queue.
Bergen Taxi
You can call Bergen Taxi on +47 55 99 70 00 or use their app. If you have not pre-ordered, you can order when you have got your luggage. They will wait for you in front of the queue at the "pick up" point. Taxi companies are required by law to set a maximum price. Not all of them does.
Light rail
This is not the best way to get to the house, but good if you are going to visit the center of Bergen first.
You have to buy tickets before the ride by using their app (Skyss https://www.skyss.no/) or by using the ticket machine at the light rail station. The journey takes about 38 minutes. A single ticket lasts for 1 hour and it`s valid on both light rail and all ordinary buses.
Airbus shuttle
It takes about 30 minutes from Bergen Airport to the city center.

If you are going further to the floating house you need to use bus 3 from the city center. Then change half way to bus 43. It corresponds. A quick off and on. The bus departs approximately once every hour. Be aware! It's about 10 minutes walk from the bus stop to the pier close to the Floating Villa.
